  • Condition: Very nice condition. A couple of manufacturing flaws on the underside, not seen from the top. A spot of discoloration on the top of the plate near the rim, with some dulling in that area. I see maybe one or two utensil scratches - otherwise color is wonderful, surface is shiny!

    Description

    Vintage and rare turkey platter from American Limoges
    Large round lug handled platter with a Thanksgiving turkey pattern, marked Triumph – Made in USA, Limoges, Dustitone Beige, D-47.
    This measures 15 1/4" across the handles and is 12" wide. The colors look really good without fading or wear. This platter does have a manufacturing flaw on the rim on the underside, it looks like a ground down spot, and another flaw just above that. Both flaws have glaze over the top. Pretty insignificant, but worth mentioning.
    There is also
    a spot of discoloration on the top of the plate near the rim, with some dulling in that area. I see maybe one or two utensil scratches - otherwise color is wonderful, surface is shiny!
