Antique O.C. Co. OCCO Limoges France Tankard Pitcher Proposal Painted Victorian. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
Excellent O.C. Co. Limoges tankard/pitcher. Painted a deep pink/salmon with a scene of a man proposing marriage to a woman in a forest. The tankard is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks. There are flaws in the paint including some loss to the painted scene. It luckily doesn’t involve the characters of a detailed area. The handle has some paint flaws that occurred in production it seems, as does the base where it seems they missed a spot. The glaze has great crazing happening which gives it an excellent patina. The vessel is 12” tall with the diameter of the base being nearly 6.5”. It is quite heavy for its size. The mark on the base is slightly faded but reads O.C. Co Limoges Porcelain. I’ll ship ASAP!
